1. Go to the SAP Easy Access screen and enter the transaction code: PA30 Enter the Personnel Number of the Sales Employee
2. Enter the basic data for the employee, like the name, organizational assignment, and master data
3. Select the tab “Account Assignment” and assign the employee with a valid cost center
4. Select the tab “Sales/Distribution” and select the Sales Area that the employee is responsible for
5. Select the “Partner Functions” tab and assign all relevant functions to the employee (customer contact, sales representative, etc.)
6. Save and activate the employee to make it available for all transactions.
1. Log into the SAP system with a user that has the appropriate authorization.
2. Go to the SPRO transaction code and navigate to the following path:
IMG > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Human Resources > Organizational Management > Personnel Administration > Personnel Structure > Define Number Ranges for HR Master Records.
3. Enter the desired number range for the Sales Employee and click “Save”.
4. Go to the PA40 transaction code and click “Create”.
5. Enter the Sales Employee’s personal information such as name, address and any other relevant information.
6. Select the number range that was created in Step 3.
7. Enter the Sales Employee’s organizational assignment.
8. Select the “Sales Employee” checkbox and enter any additional sales-related information.
9. Click “Save”.
10. Go to the OMJ2 transaction code and select the Sales Employee.
11. Select the “Pricing” tab and enter the necessary pricing information.
12. Click “Save”.
13. Go to the OMJ5 transaction code and select the Sales Employee.
14. Enter the Sales Employee’s commission information and click “Save”.
15. The Sales Employee is now created.
